The youth in Germany was not givin the choice to expresse themselves. Their youth was all about following and obaying the beliefs of someone else instead of having the chance to learn what they like individually. These childern do not appear to be youthful, instead they seem like prisoners to Hitler and the other adults.

The youth in this photo seem excited about seeing a legend, Elvis. The youth of this time were carefree and allowed to make their own choices. These young adults are not stressed out about their safty and are more concerned about whats happening around them.

In the 1960's, youth in America was much different. Schools were having blacks and whites going to separate schools. The blacks thought this was unfair because they did not do anything to deserve this, and not all white people were racist towards blacks. The youth during this time was forced to hate each other because the color of their skin and what the adults told them to think.

In the mid-1990's, the yuth of America suddenly became obese. Parents suddenly work 2 jobs and moms don't have time to put food on the table so they would take their kids to fast food, this is the problem for most of the obesity in America. Technology was also introduced into our everyday lives, creating more of a distraction to family time.

The image of two women married with a child is something that the youth of America does not get shocked by seeing. At Horizon High School, it is acceptable to be yourself and like who you like and you do not have to pretend to be someone you are not just to be accepted. The youth today is very unique because they don't judge and back in the 1940's, the youth was not allowed to think for themselves and express themselves openly.
